Cindy Blackman Santana



Cindy Blackman came to be in Ohio (Never to far away from Flight Drummers Headquarters). She began her professional career being a street performer in New York City. Cindy also had the ability to study at Berklee College of Music for a few years. She actually is probably most well known on her extensive career with Lenny Kravits (Starting in 1993). Cindy is actually a energetic, funky and powerful drummer with great dynamic.



Emmanuelle Caplette



This insanely groovy drummer has phenomenal technique. I was surprised when I came across one of her videos a few months ago; I was mesmerised by her musicality and tastefulness.



Emmanuel is from Quebec. Her drumming career began when she was 9 around the snare drum. She spends her time playing and performing at drum festivals, workshops/clinics, and touring with lots of hip-hop and pop artists in Quebec.



Cora Coleman-Dunham



Cora is a renowned drummer noted for her incomparable skills on the set. She actually ispowerful and quick, and may play some sick grooves!



Cora also started her career at age 9. Among Cora’s more noticeable feats could be her gig with all the one and only Prince, where she performs along with of her husband (Jason Dunham) who is an extraordinary bass player.



She travels the entire world touring, playing clinics, master classes/workshops, and a lot more. She also has performed during half time in the super bowl…in the pouring rain! !



And merely to include in her greatness, Cora won the Guitar Center Drum Off in 2003.



Cora has phenomenal chops and definately will give any drummer a run for his or her money!



Sheila E



Sheila E is arguable just about the most famous of the female drummers. I am aware those who aren’t even musicians that know who she actually is! She has quite a resume under her belt, but here are a few highlights.



Sheila was brought up and influenced by her legendary father Pete Escovedo, known as the Latin Jazz artist. She continues to be nominated several times for Grammy awards and contains had appearances on a few Television shows.



Sheila was initially discovered at age of 5 where she played a solo facing 3,000 people. Between now and then, she has played with artists such as Prince, Ringo Starr, and Tito Puente (among many others! )



Hannah Ford



This young female drumming sensation is certainly one in a million! Hannah was created in Kentucky, Louisville and at a young age, has studied with some of the best drummers on earth. Among that list of drummers is Louie Bellson, Ndugu Chancler, Peter Erskine, Stanton Moore, Johnny Rabb, Ignacio Berroa, and many more. - female drum cover



Directly following high school she accepted a scholarship to Chicago College of Performing Arts.
